Personal Description
Qualified professional Science Teacher.
I have a caring and patient nature with a passion for Science. I have keen interest in human biology and genetics. As a former midwife I have a lot real life applications of science we learn in the classroom. I can work both in the home or online to teach and demonstrate all aspects of the science curriculum.
Teaching Experience:
I have been tutoring for the last 2 years, whilst working full time as a secondary school teacher.
I am familiar with all aspects of the GCSE Science Curriculum.
Tutoring Approach:
I fully believe in the benefits of one to one tutoring, enabling students to build confidence in science. Once confident with aspects of science students are able to find their own passions and interests in such a broad subject.
Whether it be taught learning, examination paper practice or skill practice I plan my teaching to best support the individual student. My aim as a tutor is to instil confidence in my learners and enable them to enjoy science.
